VISIT THE NATION’S FIRST CAT CAFE!

Adults AND Children $12 per visit
Children Under TWO Free

Cat Town was established to save the elderly, stressed, sick, and injured shelter cats facing euthanasia. In focusing on these overlooked animals, we've helped reduce the euthanasia rate for cats at Oakland Animal Services, Oakland's municipal shelter, by more than 70% since 2011 — in part by operating America’s first cat cafe!

We book out quickly, and therefore cannot guarantee we’ll have space for walk-in visits. Admission fees are the same for reservations and walk-ins, so we strongly recommend reserving your spot in advance to guarantee entry.

Hoping to adopt? Adopters visit for free! Please complete our Adoption Inquiry form so we can help you find your ideal cat companion with a free adoption appointment. Please note: cats in our foster homes are not available to meet at our Adoption Center.

Having trouble redeeming a gift card? Email us at reservations[@]cattownoakland.org for help!
