In response to a question during Sunday night's presidential debate about growing Islamophobia, Donald Trump addressed his comments about wanting a ban on Muslim immigrants to the United States, which he labeled as "extreme vetting," and said that American Muslims should be reporting suspicious activities that they're aware of to authorities.
"I mean, whether we like it or not and we can be politically correct, but whether we like it or not, there is a problem," Trump said during the debate. "And we have to be sure that Muslims come in and report when they see something going on. When they see hatred going on, they have to report it."
And so Muslims took to Twitter to do just that. According to Twitter, the most retweeted post from the debate was one from a Brooklyn College professor reporting some "dangerous activity."
